Paneer Chilli

Introduction:
This delicious dish is an Indian adaptation of a Chinese recipe! It makes for a terrific snack!

Paneer Chilli

 Ingredients

  • Oil - 3tbs
  • Garlic Crushed - 6 cloves
  • Onion Chopped - 1 medium
  • Green Chilli slit - 4
  • Capsicum - 1 big
  • Cornflour  - 3 tbs
  • Paneer(cottage cheese) - 1 cup (you can get paneer cubes in super market)
  • White Pepper powder - one or two pinch (depends on your taste i use two)
  • Salt as per your taste
  • ajinomoto - one pinch  (optional)
  • (Personally i never use ajinomoto u can use it to enhances the flavor) 
  • Chilli sauce - 2tbs
  • Soya sauce - 2tbs
  • Vegetable stock - 1cup (u can use normal water also)
  • Cornstarch diluted in water - 1tbs
  • Vinegar - 1tbs or less
  • Spring onions chopped for garnishing

Method

  Take cornflour in a bowl add paneer cubes to it and fry it in a wok. Keep that paneer aside. Now take another wok add oil to it let it be hot then add crushed garlic saute till golden. Add green chillies, onions, capsicum don't fry veggies too long it should be crunchy. Now add fried paneer to it add white pepper, salt, ajinomoto, chilli sauce and soya sauce mix all fast. Now add vegetable stock or water and diluted cornstarch mix well add vinegar garnish with spring onions and your paneer chilli is ready.

 Tip

1)If you need paneer chilli gravy then add more vegetable stock and if you want paneer chilli dry then add less vegetable stock. 

2)Instead of vinegar you can use lemon juice.

Serving suggestion You can have it as a starter or have it with rice or noodles it tastes yummy.
